Review: full disclosure, this side caesar was one of the primary inspirations behind the blog so there may be a little bias in the review… it did not disappoint. Almost all crisp and no leaf, optimal dressing distribution and large, crispy, homemade croutons make this caese the new top dog.

Review: though the anchovies were immediately removed, the chilled plate and cherry tomatoes earned this side caese a strong presentation score. It also boasted a strong crisp to leaf lettuce ratio. Average to below average marks in the remaining categories held the overall score back.

Review: been awhile since our last post… decided to break the silence with an extremely solid side caesar. Large, crunchy lettuce, fantastic dressing, parmesan crumbles and above average croutons slingshot this caese towards the top of our list.

Review: I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, a chilled bowl or plate makes a huge difference. It bumped this side caesars presentation score from a 4 to a 5. Not that the rest of the salad needed much help… light yet crunchy croutons and solid scores in every other category makes this caese our current clubhouse leader.

Review: it was a little awkward taking this picture at a work dinner and having to explain my side caesar salad blog to a customer… I’m glad I did though. A perfect parmesan score and straight fours in the remaining categories earned this caese an elite score.

Review: a chilled bowl can go a long way… it certainly did on this side caesars presentation score. Unfortunately soggy lettuce and store bought croutons prevented it from scoring anything better than average.

Review: I love finding solid side caesars in unexpected places. Strong dressing and parmesan scores lift this caese to an above average score. It isn’t winning any awards anytime soon but it certainly gets the job done.

Review: While this caesar still comes in slightly above average… it may be the biggest let down in side caesar history. Portion size and wilted lettuce hurt presentation and lettuce scores. For a salad that was one of the main inspirations behind this blog… I was extremely disappointed. I hope the Wichita location can redeem itself.

Review: the croutons on this side caesar were a lot like our skin after a day at the pool… burnt. What saved this caese was its above average dressing and large parmesan chunks.
